I was at my networking group yesterday morning and was asked a great question… How do you incorporate Facebook for business?  Do we just start throwing things up on our personal profile page, do we create a business page, a separate profile, where to begin?

I am sure that everyone reading this has a personal Facebook profile.  It is now a normal way to communicate with people.  We keep track of our family and friends.  Connect, like, and share.

Facebook has turned from just a social media outlet, keeping up with friends and family, to a place to make a business presence.  And more important than strictly a business presence, a place to build your brand.  A place to build “YOU, Inc.”  You may love your company, and everything that goes along with it, but when all is said and done, people do business with people, not with companies.  They do business with people they know, like, and trust.

I found an awesome free webinar that lays out all the details about how to build your brand.  You may love what you do now, and love the company you are with, but you never know what the future holds, so it is important to build yourself in the marketplace.
