Sales is a relationship business.  Relationships are rarely built in a first time meeting, it takes time to build.  

Make the connections, focus on the other person, and go from there.  It often takes multiple exposures to close a sale.  The problem?  Most people give up or quit before they have built the relationship that lends itself to the end result.
